The Department of Philosophy, Gurucharan University is a well established department that came into being in 1935. The department has five faculty teachers. The Department deals with the systematic study of fundamental problems concerning existence, knowledge, values, reasoning. It includes major branches like ethics, logic, epistemology and metaphysics. The Department encourages critical thinking clarity of thought and analytical skills among the students. It helps individuals understand human values and make informed decisions.
